Interdisciplinary Research Teams (IRT) program
CALIT2 and UROP are partnering to offer graduate and undergraduate students the opportunity to work together in teams.
The Interdisciplinary Research Teams (IRT) program allows graduate students to mentor undergraduate students in a project setting. Students are encouraged to work collaboratively bringing their interests and experience from multiple disciplines to be applied to solve problems. What was formerly known as MDP (Multi-Disciplinary Program) has evolved into a collection of students from various disciplines to conduct research and problem solve. IRT Program is now even more aligned with CALIT2’s values of innovating, integrating and igniting ideas.
