James Russell, director of Energy Transition Practice with CLEAResult, spoke with students at the first IAC Chats session held on Jan. 18 at CALIT2.
Russell discussed his role at CLEAResult– the largest provider of energy efficiency, transition and decarbonization solutions in North America, and presented an overview of how government policies, incentives and actions can coalesce to help guide businesses, governments, utilities and residential customers to reduce their energy use and carbon footprint.
The IAC Chats program is hosted by the UCI SMART IAC (Industrial Assessment Center), housed at CALIT2. The program offers students an opportunity to engage directly with industry experts in an informal setting.
