TechPortal is located on the second floor in the CALIT2 Building, room 2401. Approximately 1,500 total square feet, the incubator houses up to seven companies. Each tenant can lease roughly 150 square feet of flexible incubator space for $450/month. Month-to-month leases, with a minimum commitment of 6 months and a maximum occupancy of 2 years, are available.
TechPortal tenants also have access to CALIT2 UCI shared-use facilities on a recharge basis. Those facilities include:
- Bio-Organic Clean Room Facility
- Integrated Nanosystems Research Facility
- Materials Characterization Center
- Microscopy Center
- Microsemi Innovation Lab
Companies in the TechPortal may use a small meeting room within the incubator; they may also reserve one of several complimentary conference rooms in the CALIT2 Building when needed and as available. A few guest parking spots for visitors are also available by reservation.
