He Research Group

He Research Group: Laboratory for Energy, Nano, and Sustainability (LENS)

The He Lab addresses key challenges at the intersection of materials, energy, and sustainability. We are committed to providing diverse and interdisciplinary environments focused on STEM education and workforce development.

Their research goal is to leverage the advanced electron microscopy tools to understand fundamental materials behavior at the atomic level and engineer novel materials with improved properties for real- world applications in nanoscience and nanotechnology, quantum information sciences, and clean energy technologies.
