LEXI Microscopy Lab

The Laboratory for Electron and X-ray Instrumentation (LEXI) offers a wide range of state-of-the-art nanofabrication and characterization techniques, including SEM FIB milling and deposition, electron beam lithography, thermal and e-beam evaporation, clanking angle deposition, EDS, EBSD, in situ electrical/optical/mechanical nanoprobing. AFM, XRD, X-ray computed tomography, surface metrology, 3D light microscopy, and sample preparation.
LEXI is one of the facilities that comprises the UCI Irvine Materials Research Institute (IMRI).
